Salvation

Hebrews 9:27  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this is judgment.
This verse tells us that we must all face God in judgment.

Romans 8:1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.
John 5:24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Here we are told that we can be certain that our eternal destination is Heaven if we follow the plan God has for salvation in the Bible.

Romans 3:23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
The problem of sin separates us from a sinless, holy God and a perfect place called
"Heaven".

Isaiah 59:1-2  Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear: but your iniquities [sin] have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear."
This spiritual death reslts in eternal separation from God in a literal place the Bible calls "Hell".

Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

Ephesians 2:8-9  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
You must understand that God is willing to show mercy to you because Jesus, His Son, died on the croww to pay the penalty for your sin.

Romans 5:8  But God commendeth [demonstrated] His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Christ Jesus died in your place, was buried, and then triumphantly arose from the grave on the third day.  He is willing and
wanting to forgive you of your sin and guarantee you a place in Heaven.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 11:25-26  Jesus said unto her, I am the Resurrection, and the Life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die.  Believest thou this?
To be saved, you must ask God to forgive your sin and give you the gift of eternal life in Heaven.  You make this request with faith and trust in Jesus Christ's finished work on the cross to pay your sin penalty.  Only through Jesus can we have the assurance of Heaven.

John 14:16  I am the way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

Revelation 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.

If you would like to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, then pray this prayer - meaning it from your heart to God:

Dear God, I know I am a sinner and because of sin, I am separated from You.  I believe your Son, Jesus, died on the cross to pay for all my sin.  The best I know how, I ask forgiveness for my sin and choose to rely on Jesus, by faith, to take me to Heaven when I die.  Thank you for this assurance of Heaven.  Amen.
